Flower preservation is becoming more popular than ever. Flowers Into Paintings is the cutting edge of preserving flowers today. Using dried pressed flowers, our technique it lasting and permanent. We use flowers from any occasion. Wedding flowers, funeral flowers, anniversary flowers, and flowers from other events can be used to create lasting memories. Flowers Into Paintings creates custom one-of-a-kind keepsakes.
Wedding bouquets, bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, and wedding flowers are the most common flowers that are preserved today. Drying your wedding bouquet yourself is usually difficult, time consuming, and most of all risky! You only have one chance to preserve your wedding flowers. Once they the flowers are dried and pressed by our professional pressing department, they are preserved into a painting with our patented process. All you have to do is get your wedding flowers to us when they are still alive and fresh. This is usually up to 10 days after your wedding, sometimes more, depending on the types of flowers and the care of the flowers. We do all the work, so no need to try to press your flowers or dry your flowers. Besides, flower pressing is not as easy as you might think. Remember, you can't bring a dried flower back to life! Make sure that you have your flowers or bridal bouquets in water after your wedding to keep them as fresh as possible. Need guidance on what to do with your flowers to keep them fresh? Call us and we will be happy to help.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT DURING THE DRYING PROCESS, ALL FLOWERS CHANGE IN SOME WAY. When flowers are pressed at peak freshness, the results are at their best. While many flowers keep true to color, some flowers may lose some or all of their color. This is a natural effect when the water is taken out of the petals. Results also depend on the quality and condition of the flowers upon arrival.
We have found that orchids have the most dramatic change in color. All types of cymbidium orchids turn golden brown, but they can still be used in our process. Results vary in other types of orchids.
If you have questions about specific flowers and color, please send us an email or call and we will be happy to discuss it with you.
